Love Languages (English Version)

Now we're gonna talk about love languages, have you heard it before? Or, for those who familiar to this, what is your love language? Tell us in the comment section!

In my opinion, Love Languages is an act of love, that make us feel loved by certain acts or its a way to express our love with certain acts. This love languages is going viral nowadays. The 5 Love Languages itself was popularized by Gary Chapman, an American author in his books titled "5 Love Languages". 

So, what is the 5 Love Languages? Here we go!

1. Acts of Service
   People with Acts of Service love language feel loved by every simple act you gave them. They way you treated them is really matters! It would be very nice if you initiate to help them through action, like you open the doors for them, you pick him/her up, or any services you gave them. Quote on quotes, "initiative does really matters". 
   
   
2. Physical Touch
   People with Physical Touch love language feel loved when they can connect with you physically. They love to be hugged, hold their hands, lay their head on you, etc.
    
3. Quality Time
   People with Quality Time love language feel loved when they can spend time with you. Whether its watching movie, having a deep talk or anything as long as its with you, they will be very happy. For this kind of people, time is the most priceless things you can give them. Don't forget to stay away from your phone, make sure you both have a real time full of quality.
   
   
4. Receiving Gifts
   People with Receiving Gifts love language will be very happy with a small gift you gave them. It doesn't have to be expensive, its matter of effort you give. They will feel loved when you give them something out of occasional days, like something they need, it would be very meaningful. 
   
   
5. Words of Affirmation
   People with Words of Affirmation love language feel loved when you give them a compliment, motivation or positive affirmation. It will help them to boost their confidence, their energy, it gives a big impact to them, but please keep in mind, you have to say it sincerely, okay? Hahaha.

But, do you know guys, that love languages is a response of past trauma that affect our lives. Do you ever feel that you can't always get what you want then it could be trigger to make us happy with small things happen in our lives, we'll be feel loved and very happy when we accepted it.

For an example, my love language is Quality Time, I love to spend time with people I love. When I was kid, my parents were to busy working everyday, its like never stops. I wish I could have more time with them, but no, we never had that time. Turns out, when they're available, I would be very glad and very happy spending time with them.

And, one of my friend, her love language is Acts of Service, she does really like to be treated like queen, since she always handle thing by herself when she was a kid, so it would be really nice when someone can do it for her, it makes her feel loved.

Kali ini aku bakal bahas terkait love languages, kalian udah pernah denger belum? Atau, untuk kalian yang udah tau, love language kalian apa? Comment ya!

Jadi Love Languages atau Bahasa Cinta menurut aku adalah sikap/perilaku tertentu, yang membuat kita merasa dicintai atau bagaimana cara kita mengekspresikan cinta kita melalui sikap/perilaku tertentu guys. Nah, love languages ini lagi populer banget. Sebenernya istilah ini dipopulerkan oleh Gary Chapman, seorang penulis Amerika di dalam bukunya yang berjudul "5 Love Languages".

Apa aja sih ke 5 bahasa cinta itu? Yuk kita bahas!

1. Acts of Service (Tindakan)
   Orang dengan love language act of service akan merasa dicintai banget nih melalui tindakan-tindakan nyata yang kalian berikan, apalagi kalau kalian yang inisiatif duluan! Misal kalian bantuin mereka pecahin masalah mereka, atau hanya sekedar bawain makanan ketika mereka ga minta, duh dijamin meleleh deh! Tapi, jangan sering-sering, mereka gampang baper.
   
   
2. Physical Touch (Sentuhan Fisik)
   Orang yang memiliki love language physical touch akan merasa connect dengan kalian ketika adanya kontak fisik. Mereka dengan love language ini pasti seneng banget kalo kalian peluk, di genggam atau sekedar elusan di kepala! Tapi jangan dimanfaatin ya kelemahan mereka ini!
   
   
3. Quality Time (Waktu Bersama)
   Orang yang memiliki love language quality time suka banget menghabiskan waktu sama kamu! Entah beraktivitas atau cuma ngobrol aja tuh udah bisa buat mereka seneng loh, karna bagi mereka waktu itu adalah hal yang paling berharga yang bisa diberikan orang lain. Dan ketika sedang quality time jangan lupa untuk singkirkan gadget kalian ya, itu bisa buat mereka merasa kurang dihargai.
   
   
4. Receiving Gifts (Menerima Hadiah)
   Orang yang memiliki love language receiving gifts akan suka banget sama hadiah-hadiah kecil yang kalian berikan! Nggak perlu mahal loh, yang penting effort kalian untuk kasih mereka hadiah udah pasti buat mereka senang. Apalagi kalo kalian beliin mereka hadiah yang mereka lagi incer atau lagi mereka butuh, duh pasti meleleh banget!
   
   
5. Words of Affirmation (Kalimat Pujian)
   Orang yang love languagenya WOA (Words of Affirmation) seneng banget loh denger kata-kata pujian dari kalian! Mereka akan semangat cuma dengan kalian bilang "kamu pasti bisa" itu bisa nge-boost energi mereka. Tapi, pujiannya harus tulus dan positif ya!

Tapi kalian tau ga sih guys? Love language itu terbentuk oleh trauma masa lampau kita loh, dimana kita pernah merasa nggak bisa dapetin sesuatu yang kita inginkan, nah trauma ini bisa jadi trigger yang bikin kita happy, jadi kita akan merasa senang dan dicintai ketika kita mendapatkannya.

Nah, kalo aku sendiri love language nya itu Quality Time, aku suka banget menghabiskan waktu sama orang-orang yang aku sayang. Pas aku kecil, orang tua aku sibuk cari uang, jadi punya waktu kumpul itu jarang banget.

Lalu, temenku tuh love language nya itu Act of Service, dia suka banget di treat like a queen, karna biasa lakuin semuanya sendiri dari dia kecil.
